World Affairs Council Adds Seven New Members To Its Board Of Directors

World Affairs Council Dallas Fort Worth*

World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth President/CEO Liz Brailsford just announced the newest directors for the World Affairs Council Board.

Joining the Board are Randy Bond, Theresa Flores, Nicole Garcia, Brian Jorgensen, Suzan Kedron, Bets Lillo and Jeanne Phillips.

According to Liz, “These new board members are a truly exceptional group. They each bring a set of complimentary gifts to the board — ones that will support our growth and advance our mission.”

The 71-year-old non-profit is “dedicate to providing relevant information about global issues, challenges and opportunities while establishing North Texas as a center of international interests and business.”

Among its founders were such North Texas icons as J. Woodall Rodgers, H. Neil Mallon, Frederick C. Hamilton, Brooks Keller, John A. Steel, Charles P. Storey, M. Cullum Thompson, George Parker Jr., Harold F. Volk, Louise Moon Aldredge, Tom E. Braniff, Dr. Herbert Gambrell, Oliver W. Hammonds, Dr. J.C. Karcher, Stanley Marcus, General Robert J. Smith and Mrs. Alex W. Spence.
