According to Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary 2023 Fashion Show Chair Kim Quinn,
“The annual 2023 Dallas Women’s Auxiliary Fashion Show and Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, May 16, at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center. While we will not reveal the exciting and specific details of the 30th anniversary until mid-January, Auxiliary President Jennifer Dix and I do want you to know that the acclaimed Chic Boutique team is ready to receive the gently-worn designer fashions that have made the event such a success for three decades.
“Since its inception in 1993, The Fashion Show and Luncheon has raised more than $15 million to support services provided at 14 local Salvation Army of North Texas facilities.
“Some of the Salvation Army’s most generous supporters happen to be very well dressed. For several years, the runway models have worn beautiful clothes donated from the likes of Lisa Cooley (who is serving as honorary chair), Linda Custard, Mary Clare Finney, Charlotte Jones, Gene Jones, Jan Pickens and fashion show founder Margot Perot, to name a few.
“The end of year is a great time to re-evaluate your wardrobe, so ladies, go to your closets and see what would be appealing to the discerning shoppers who will attend the fashion show next Spring.
“A heads up for those you who are Chic Boutique fans – early shopping access to the Chic Boutique will open at 9:30 a.m. The Fashion Show will start at 11 a.m. and lunch at 12:15 p.m. Mark your calendar! In the meantime, start culling your closet and contact us to collect the clothes that will make the fashion show such a special day.
