“The Junior League of Dallas’ wish this holiday season is for the community to make plans to attend the 2023 Milestones Luncheon, which will be held Friday, April 14, at the Omni Dallas Hotel.
“We are excited to welcome acclaimed author Rob Lowe as our featured speaker at the 2023 Milestones Luncheon. His iconic career spans four decades in film, television and theater, and he has been nominated for two Emmys, six Golden Globes and four Screen Actors Guild Awards. Lowe’s two memoirs, Stories I Only Tell My Friends, and Love Life, are both “New York Times” bestsellers, and he has starred in several television classics.
“In addition, JLD will honor Pamela Busbee with the 2023 Sustainer of the Year Award during the luncheon. With a true servant’s heart, Pam has an extensive list of community volunteer experience over several decades. Her current involvements include the Foundation for the Callier Center of Communication Disorders, West Dallas Community School Advisory Board, The Senior Source Board, St. Michael and All Angels Alter Guild, Crystal Charity Ball, Dallas Woman’s Club, Marianne Scruggs Garden Club and Dallas Knife and Fork.
“The Milestones Luncheon is an annual fundraiser benefiting the Junior League of Dallas Community Service Fund, which serves as a platform to raise awareness for the programs and issues supported by JLD, and to recognize the impact and achievements of its volunteers. Proceeds from The Milestones Luncheon allow the JLD to grant approximately $1 million annually to the Dallas community.
