According to 2023 Callier Cares Luncheon Chair Kim Hext,
“The Callier Center for Communication Disorders will honor the Moody Foundation with the 2023 Ruth and Ken Altshuler Callier Care Award for their esteemed history as advocates and supporters of children and adults facing communication disorders at the Callier Cares Luncheon on Monday, April 17, at Dallas Country Club.
“As part of Callier legacy, the Moody Foundation has been instrumental in growing Callier’s pediatric programs including the Innovation Hub for Pediatric Care and advancing Alternative and Augmentative Communication or children without verbal speech.
“We are delighted that longtime Callier advocates Rosemarie and Dr. Maynard Ewton Jr. will serve as the luncheon’s honorary co-chairs.
“My wish is that the community will commit to help raise critical funds to ensure that children and adults with speech, language and hearing disorders receive access to care. Your support will make a difference in the lives of those who otherwise would be unable to connect with the world around them.
