After eight months serving as Legal Hospice of Texas’ (LHT) interim executive director, Michelle Moos can remove the word “interim” from her title.
Since April, Michelle has found that the role not only challenged her but has “become very close to her heart. She feels her ability to develop and implement specific business strategies will help take the organization to the next level in the coming years.”
According to Michell, “I fell in love with the people, passion and purpose. I am honored for the opportunity to be the executive director role on a permanent basis at the Legal Hospice of Texas. I look forward to exceeding the expectations of the board, clients and stakeholders.”
With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing on public relations from the University of Texas at Dallas, she “has more than 20 years of experience in various international and global leadership roles with event industry giants, CWT and PRA.”

As LHT Legal Director Joel Lazarine said, “Her background and talents are a perfect fit, and we think she’ll add a great deal of value to our mission of helping those in need in our community.”
Established in 1989, LHT “is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) law firm established to specifically address the health related, civil legal needs of low-income individuals diagnosed with a terminal illness or HIV-disease.”
