While some folks are “decking the halls” nowadays, Sunie Solomon and Samantha Wortley are focusing on Dec My Room North Texas Chapter’s fifth annual Room To Grow. The two brunettes will be co-chairing the fundraising luncheon in NorthPark’s Neiman Marcus Courtyard, where fashion will flourish on Wednesday, April 5.
In addition to a delicious reception, silent auction and seated luncheon, guests will learn about the season’s trends with a presentation of Neiman Marcus looks and commentary by NorthPark Center’s Fashion and Lifestyle Ambassador Kimberly Schlegel Whitman and Dallas’ own New York Times best-selling author and lifestyle expert Moll Anderson.
In addition to fun and fashions, funds will support Dec My Room’s mission to “create a healing place for children who are being admitted into a hospital for a prolonged amount of time.” The North Texas chapter is presently serving four area hospitals (Children’s Medical Center – Dallas Campus, Children’s Medical Center – Plano Campus, HCA Medical City Children’s Hospital – Dallas and Cook Children’s Hospital – Fort Worth).
According to Dec My Room’s North Texas Chapter Director Heather Smith, ““We hope everyone will make plans now to join us on April 5, to help Dec My Room continue its mission to transform unadorned hospital rooms into truly colorful and personalized healing places for our young, deserving patients. The effects our renovations have on the child, their family and medical care team are exceptionally positive and inspirational.”
While sponsorships starting at $2,500 are now available here, a limited number of individual tickets will be available in March.”
