Zoo To Do Patron Party Had Flamingos In The Yard And Guests Seeing And Wearing Spots

Nov 14, 2022 1:30 PM by Jeanne Prejean

It’s not every day that a Preston Hollow estate has flamingos flapping on the grounds. But such was the case on Monday, October 17, at Deni Bryant‘s home for the 2022 Zoo To Do patron party.

While guests like VIP Chair Sherwood Wagner, Honorary Chair Kim Hext and Dianne LaRoe were decked out in leopard and cheetah prints, a Dallas Zoo resident boa wrapped around his handler’s arm.

But it was those flamingos in the backyard strutting their stuff like Las Vegas showgirls that had cellphones capturing their ruffling of feathers and impressing guests Mark LaRoe, Reuben Esquivel, Joan and Alan Walne, Jennifer Staubach Gates, Carol and Don Glendenning, Mary McDermott Cook with Dan Patterson, Todd Clendening, Jessie Owens and Honorary Co-Chair Greg Hext with his son Preston Hext, who along with his dad and Michael Meadows and his son Matthews Meadows are serving as “Wine Guys” for the fundraiser on Saturday, November 5, at the Dallas Zoo.
