Have you ever had somebody owe you some money and wondered if they were ever going to pay it back? And when they did, wasn’t there a sigh of relief?
Well, back on Sunday, March 13, the powers-that-be borrowed an hour out of your day when Daylight Saving Time began.
This Sunday you’re getting that hour back at 2 a.m., with interest — a beautiful day with temperatures in the upper 70s.
It will be the perfect day to take in some of North Texas’ favorite spots — the Dallas Arboretum, Turtle Creek Park, the Katy Trail, the Dallas Zoo, Trinity River Audubon Center, White Rock Lake and the newly reopened Sheila and Jody Grant Children’s Park at Klyde Warren Park.
Or, if you have a hankering to spend a little cash, there’s still time to put that Partners Card to use for the good of The Family Place.
But be prepared. Sunset is going to be an hour earlier Sunday, taking place at 5:30 p.m.
