Despite the main entertainer having to cancel due to illness, the 2022 Chrysalis Ball Enchanted Masquerade didn’t slow down the fundraiser for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Collin County (BGCCC), thanks to such supporters as Presenting Sponsor Ryan plus Capital One, Toyota, Hilti North America and others.
Greeting guests like Board Chair Tortsen Seifert and his wife Kristin Seifert, Ryan’s Damon Chronis and his wife Julie Chronis and Charlie Wendell at the Frisco Embassy Suites Hotel on Saturday, October 15, were BGCCC members all decked out in A Midsummer Night’s Dream attire. Here’s a report from the field:
Behind every mask there is a face and behind that a story. The 2022 Chrysalis Ball Enchanted Masquerade hosted by Boys and Girls Clubs of Collin County did just that to unmask childhood disparities on Saturday, October 15, at Frisco Embassy Suites Hotel.
Guests were in awe of the grandeur of the event – a fusion of the Venetian Masquerade and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The notables of Collin County attended this swanky masquerade soiree in Frisco in support of the youth of Collin County. Presenting sponsor Ryan led the way with corporate support. Capital One, Toyota and many other sponsors had an impressive showing.
The highlight from the live auction was an incredible once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to dine with Andrea Bocelli in Tuscany.
Grammy-nominated multi-platinum singer and song-writer Gavin DeGraw was scheduled to lend his support and headline the gala. Unfortunately, due to illness, Gavin was hospitalized and was not able be there in person, though he sent his well wishes on screen.
This development did not deter the guests from dancing the night-away to the sounds of the Manhattan Band. All in all, it was a scintillating evening of grandeur, advocacy, and philanthropy.
There is no power for change greater than a community discovering what it cares about.
