Overnight, North Texas weather is going to once again demonstrate its flexibility. Around midnight Saturday the area will start seeing temperatures sinking, with Sunday’s highs only flirting with 72 degrees.
To highlight the change, Mother Nature is providing thunderstorms throughout the day until things simmer down to showers around dinner time.
But wait! There’s still more on the program. Monday is gonna be a true hint of dreary winter times, with mostly cloudy skies and the high staying snug in the 60s.
Take heart. Folks have been hankering to pull out those sweaters, woolen clothes, duvets, mugs of hot chocolate and homemade soup recipes. The next couple of days are the perfect time to search closets and recipes boxes for comfort yummies.
And remember that bread-making machine you mastered during the pandemic? Now is the time to put it back into action.
FYI: Weather-guessers are suggesting that except for a couple of 80-degree hiccups next weekend, the 70s will be highs until 2023.
