Since 2022 Crystal Charity Ball Chair Susan Farris had announced the theme for the ball on Saturday, December 3, would have an Italian flavor, “Italiano Splendido,” it delighted fashion lovers that Dolce & Gabbana would be featured at the CCB Fashion Show chaired by Jennifer Dix on Thursday, September 8.

When the big day came, it was obvious that Dolce & Gabbana was the dominant presence on the third floor of Neiman Marcus NorthPark. The evidence ranged from a wall displaying D&G’s new line of plates and blonde philanthropist Nancy C. Rogers’ private champagne gathering in the transformed Zodiac Room saluting the Italian design house to the hundreds of stylish guests in D&G floral and the Majolica tile prints throughout.
To accommodate the multitudes wanting to applaud the Ten Best Dressed Class of 2022 (Marybeth Conlon, Tiffany Divis, Monica Eastin, Libby Hegi, Kim Hext, Meredith Land, Karla McKinley, Anne McPherson, Amy Prestidge and Kim Quinn), Hall of Famer Pat McEvoy and Honorary Chair Gene Jones — plus check out D&G’s newest collection — two presentations were needed: a brunch and an afternoon delight.

In anticipation of the runway presentation of the 40+ creations, one very-well-versed-in-the-world-of couture doyenne hoped that the collection would be a bouquet of colors and floral designs to be added to her closet.
While coverage of the day of CCB and D&G is being finalized, check out the nearly 100 looks of the crowd and the collection at MySweetCharity Photo Gallery.
