JUST IN: Cynt Marshall Has “Been Chosen” To Keynote November’s Doing The Most Good Luncheon

Sep 13, 2022 3:26 PM by Jeanne Prejean

Today Dallas Mavericks CEO Cynt Marshall’s “You’ve been Chosen: Thriving Through the Unexpected” is officially available for purchase. Coincidently, The Salvation Army of North Texas’ Doing The Most Good Luncheon Co-Chairs Jean Hobby and Taylor Turner and Underwriting Chair Mary Clare Finney have just announced that powerhouse Cynt will be the event’s keynote speaker.

Taking place on Wednesday, November 9, at the Hilton Anatole, The Salvation Army of North Texas’ signature fundraiser will be highlighted by a “fireside chat” between Cynt and NBC 5 News Co-Anchor Meredith Land about Cynt’s “personal connection to The Salvation Army.”

According to The Salvation Army of North Texas Area Commander Major Paul McFarland, “We are honored to have Cynt Marshall join us at [sic] this year’s Doing the Most Good Luncheon speaker as her advocacy for doing good wonderfully aligns with the mission of The Salvation Army.”

Serving as honorary co-chairs will be philanthropists Carolyn and David Miller, who have a long history of supporting the organization including serving on its Advisory Board.

Funds raised through the luncheon will support The Salvation Army of North Texas to provide services to those combatting poverty, addition and homelessness in Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Rockwall and Tarrant counties all year long.
