There’s a theory that women are always allowed to change their minds. That is exactly what happened for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra League‘s “2022 Fashion Notes” saluting designer Lele Sadoughi and featuring St. John fashions on the runway on Thursday, October 13 at the Fairmont Dallas Hotel.
That change was just revealed by DSOL President Cynthia Beaird and Fashion Notes Co-Chairs Sharon Lee Clark and Kira Nasrat.
Rest easy. Lele will still be honored with the Designer Award and the models will still be wearing clothes from St. John on October 13, as previously announced last month.
But before the big change is announced, Cynthia and the co-chairs revealed that second-generation Dallas Symphony Orchestra loving Patsy Donosky and her daughter Janie Donosky Condon will serve as honorary co-chairs. It was Patsy mother/adoptive father and Janie’s grandparents, the late Juanita and Henry S. Miller Sr., who were a driving force in the North Texas arts community.
According to Sharon, “Here is a mother and daughter who have a long charitable history of serving the Dallas community especially the symphony as leaders and role models.”
Now for the big change that was hinted at above. The whole kit-and-caboodle is moving to the Virgin Hotels Dallas in the Design District instead of the previously announced Fairmont Dallas Hotel.
So, after you get your reservations locked down, set your GPS for the Virgin Hotels Dallas.
