Each Moment Matters Luncheon mom/daughter Co-Chairs Julie Ford and Tucker Enthoven greeted guests like Marnie and Kern Wildenthal, Carol Smith, Pam Busbee and Brenda Snitzer at Harlan Crow’s library on Wednesday, September 14, and during the reception someone asked Tucker how they had connected with the benefit luncheon for Forefront Living.

Without hesitation, Tucker had two reasons.
First, Julie’s lifelong friend had spent her final days at T. Boone Pickens Hospice Center, where Julie and Tucker were moved by the compassion and professionalism of the staff in helping not only the clients but also their families.
Second, it was Tucker’s learning about the Center’s Faith Presbyterian Hospice Child and Family Bereavement Program for children that resulted in the Center receiving a $541,098 grant from Crystal Charity Ball in 2017.

Tucker seriously doubted that Forefront Living even knew of their personal experience with its palliative and hospice services, but 2021 Each Moment Matters Co-Chair Christie Carter suggested Tucker’s and Julie’s taking on the leadership role for the fundraiser on Friday, September 23, at the Hilton Anatole featuring Dr. BJ Miller as the keynote speaker.
As Julie and Tucker continued to welcome the crowd of guests packing the hall filled with portraits, Tucker’s husband Rich Enthoven like other guests took in the sight of the main room.
On the far side of the room near Abraham Lincoln’s desk was AVA Designs’ Kristyn, who was providing illustrations of guests as favors. It was a remarkable process. Kristyn would take a cellphoto of the guests and whip up an illustration of them to take home. But even Kristyn had to admit that she had to limit the number due to the overwhelming demand. It always pays to be an early bird when it comes to perks.
