“The Brother Bill’s Helping Hand Back to School Beach Bash event is a two-day event on Friday, August 5, and Saturday, August 6. The event will run 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. each day at Brother Bill’s Helping Hand.
“Our Back to School Beach Bash goal is to collect 3,100 backpacks for Pre-K – 12th-grade students by July 29th. We will be purchasing school supplies, so our biggest need for this event is backpacks. We need various themes, colors, and styles for boys and girls. You can purchase backpacks from Target, Walmart, our Amazon wishlist, or your favorite store!
“While this school year may look more “normal” than the last few years, it is still important that the children in Oak Cliff know that they are loved, smart, and valued. We also want them to be excited about going to school, eager to take on the new school year, and fully equipped with new school supplies and a new backpack!
“If you would like to collect backpacks with your neighborhood, church, friends, company, etc., and deliver them to Brother Bill’s, our address is 3906 N. Westmoreland Rd., Dallas, TX 75212 and drop off times are Mondays – Thursday from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. or Fridays 9:00 a.m. – noon. We are also happy to help with pick-ups.
