According to HHM Health Board Chair Maria Miller,
“HHM Health provides quality healthcare to all its neighbors with love, compassion and respect. Our goal is to be the best patient-focused health center by providing personalized, physical, mental and spiritual care for every individual.
“More than 40,000 patient visits are conducted each year with help of generous individuals, foundations, churches and corporations. We are so appreciative of the recent funding from Margot Perot, Harold Simmons Foundation, the Nation Foundation and the Baldridge Foundation.
“We have two very exciting updates about our expanding services:
“HHM Health recognizes that mammograms remain the most important tool for diagnosing breast cancer in its earliest stages for most women. We believe women should have access to quality and affordable routine mammogram appointments, especially those who have risk factors for breast cancer. We are so excited to announce the opening of HHM Imaging in October and very grateful to Margot Perot for her recent gift to help make this dream a reality.
“In addition to our new mammogram machine, we’ve purchased a sonogram machine, bone density scanner, and an X-ray machine. This will allow patients to be seen as soon as labs are ordered instead of waiting weeks. HHM Health is proud to continue to help the whole patient in a compassionate, quality and affordable way through HHM Imaging.
“HHM Health continues to make certain the needs of the community are met. The demand for vision care has grown exponentially and the Rosewood Foundation Vision Clinic has added another optometry chair and moved to a larger space at the Northwest Community Center at 5750 Pineland located in the Vickery Meadow neighborhood. The center offers vision care for adults, seniors and children including annual eye exams, prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lenses as well as coordinated vision care related to chronic diseases is also provided.
“Please take this opportunity to visit our website at hhmhealth.org and learn more about how you can become involved in making healthcare accessible and affordable for those who need it the most.”
