According to 2022 Women of Distinction Luncheon Co-Chairs Nickoria Johnson and Teresa Lin,
“Through programming that targets key areas such as entrepreneurship and life skills, the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas (GSNETX) aims to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who will make the world a better place. Girl Scouts is the only organization that prepares every girl to practice a lifetime of leadership by providing access to countless girl-led experiences, skill-building opportunities, and connections.
“It’s only fitting that the organization’s annual Women of Distinction Luncheon (WDL), presented by AT&T, celebrates outstanding leaders in our community who represent the Girl Scout values through their leadership and contributions, while raising crucial funds to support GSNETX programming. We couldn’t be more thrilled to co-chair the return of the in-person, 18th annual WDL at the Omni Dallas Hotel on Friday, October 28!
“During the WDL program, GSNETX will recognize three Women of Distinction, one Man Enough to be a Girl Scout, and three Mary Anne Cree Young Women of Distinction award recipients.
“The funds raised during the luncheon will provide crucial leadership development, mental health support, socio-emotional skill cultivation, and science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), entrepreneurship, life skills, and outdoor leadership programs to more than 19,000 girls in Northeast Texas.
“We hope you will join us on Friday, October 28, as we celebrate these champions of service and raise funds to support GSNETX’s important mission of enabling more girls to unleash their potential, build their future, and transform their world.
