UPDATE: Equest Horses Hate To Nag, But They’re Stalled In Trying To Show Their Thanks

Jul 1, 2022 1:30 PM by Jeanne Prejean

Equest’s breezy barn*

In response to last week’s SOS for Equest’s need of high velocity fans, there’s some spectacular new and could-use-some help news.

Equest spokes-horses Dare and Ranger reported, “The response to our need for heavy-duty fans for the barn was amazing!! A big huge thank you to all you cool people who donated fans or money to purchase fans. Our horses, volunteers and staff are much more comfortable even in the afternoon. Please know that we are very, very grateful for all the fans. We now have plenty to install and some in reserve to replace any that break in the future.”

But it seems that the Equest four-legged residents were raised with old-fashioned manners and need some input and it won’t cost a cent.

As Dare and Ranger explained, “There is one hitch. Many of the boxes that Amazon or UPS delivered had no contact information so that we could thank those who donated. So if you donated a fan(s) and your tracking receipt says it was delivered here, please reach out and email us at [email protected] and our staff will make sure you get a thank you/in-kind tax receipt.”
