Since its founding 39 years ago by Janet Evans and Rusty Duvall, the St. Valentine’s Day Fashion Show And Luncheon has provided more than $14.5M for funding leukemia and lymphoma research in Texas, including at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Since then, “some patient survival rates have doubled and countless advances have been made with new safer treatments for patients.”
With this in mind, it has just been revealed that Katy Bock and Sunie Solomon will co-chair the 2023 Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of North Texas 39th St. Valentine’s Day Fashion Show and Luncheon at the Meyerson on Valentine’s Day eve — Monday, February 13.
The twosome are old hands at co-chairing fundraisers involved in the battle against cancer. Following Sunie’s co-chairing the 2017 Cattle Baron’s Ball, Katy co-chaired the CBB the following year.
According to Katy, “Sunie and I are so honored to serve as the 2023 St. Valentine’s Day Luncheon co-chairs, which will help raise awareness and funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s mission of finding cures for cancer and help improve the quality of life of patients and their families.”
While more details will be revealed in the future, sponsorships and tables are available here.
