The color of the crowd spilling out of Highland Park Village’s Lela Rose salon was largely blue on Tuesday, April 19. That’s due to the Dallas Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumnae Chapter’s 2022 Tablescapes Co-Chairs Susan Glassmoyer and Victoria Snee hosting the official kick-off gathering at the Dallas base of operations of 2022 Tablescapes featured speaker Lela Rose.

2022 Tablescapes Honorary Chair Jan Hegi was joined by Platinum Key Honoree Louise Griffeth, who co-founded the annual fundraiser 28 years ago. Louise had arrived just minutes before after a quick trip from Galveston.
While Anne McPherson was headed to the changing room to try on one of Lela’s outfits, other guests were heading to the adjoining bridal salon with its racks of incredible gowns.

Looking skyward, Victoria wondered if a storm was on its way as the front door was being blown onto arriving guests, like past Tablescapes Co-Chair Kim Purnell.

In addition to the news that KDFW “Good Day” Co-Anchor Lauren Pryzbyl would be interviewing Lela, word arrived that Lela was on her way to the kickoff.
In the meantime, guests like Amy Hegi enjoyed the beverage of the night — Kapparitas.
Plans are in place for the two-day fundraiser to take place at the Dallas Country Club on Monday, October 10 (aka Columbus Day) and Tuesday, October 11, benefiting Behind Every Door, The Center for Integrative Counseling and Psychology, The Magdalen House, The Senior Source and the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation.
