The Hope Party Co-Chairs Jennifer Burns and Diana Hamilton kicked off the 13th annual Grant Halliburton fundraiser last night. Hosted by Hall Arts Hotel, the announcements took place in the hotel’s Flora Room overlooking the Dallas Arts District with a crowd that included Melissa and Ross Martin, Catherine New, Miles Parker, Reed Robertson, Cara French and Halliburton’s Co-Founder/Executive Chair Vanita Halliburton, President Kevin Hall and Communications Senior Director TJ Griffin.

Considered one of Grant Halliburton’s largest fundraisers, the event will take place on Friday, November 18, at The Factory (formerly known as The Bomb Factory) with the theme “Don’t Stop Believing,” with a definite ” ’80s vibe.”
Originally known as “Steaks on the Lake,” they’ve changed the name to reflect the location and to lessen the emphasis on the dinner and put more of it on the cause.
Joining Jennifer and Diana as honorary co-chairs are Lael and Peter Brodsky.
The Grant Halliburton Foundation was established in 2006 in memory of Grant Halliburton, a Dallas teen who took his own life at age of 19 after suffering from depression and bipolar disorder.
With mental health among young people growing exponentially, the mission of Grant Halliburton is to “train students, teachers, parents, and professionals on how to recognize and respond to someone in major distress or suicidal crisis” is more important than ever.
