With the horses warming up for this Saturday’s Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs, the locals are nearing the “sold-out” finish line for the Turtle Creek Conservancy’s Day At The Races.
According to insiders, there are only a handful of the $200 reservations left.

While the “the most exciting two minutes in sports” doesn’t take place until just before 6 p.m. (CST), the festivities presented by Truist Bank will start at 4:30 p.m. for the afternoon of Mint Juleps, southern-inspired cuisine, lawn games, checking out the silent auction and taking in the fashions of the day.
For those who were lucky enough to bridle up the VIP positions, there will be special seating and a viewing area with a private buffet and a premium open bar.
So, unless you want to couch potato the run for the roses, you’d better gallop to get one of those last few spots.
