With Thursday’s winds blowing skirts embarrassingly waist-ward and closing car doors before the driver stepped in, the good news is that starting Friday the blowhards are calming down for the weekend activities with temps ideal for sandals, sundresses and shorts.
In addition to taking in all the artsy venues like the Dallas Arts Fair and the Klyde Warren Park dance and fitness activities, the last weekend of the Dallas Arboretum’s “Dallas Blooms” will take full advantage of the beautiful weather and hint about the weddings, graduations and Mother’s Day celebrations to come.
Be forewarned that early next week sunshine attire, pedicure-showing sandals and sunscreen might want to take a back row to bumbershoots, raincoats and galoshes. Starting Monday, things are predicted to go wet and wild with thunder until mid-week.
