SOLD-OUT ALERT!: 2022 Mad Hatter’s Tea

Apr 1, 2022 1:30 PM by Jeanne Prejean

Despite today being April Fool’s Day, Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum President Lisa Loy Laughlin and 2022 Mad Hatter’s Tea Chair Claire Catrino promise they’re not fooling about the status of the annual fundraising.

They just sent word that while the event isn’t until Wednesday, April 20, it’s already sold out. And that includes all the sponsorship levels!

But to play it safe, they’re having Mary Ellen Winborn compile a wait list just in case an opening or two becomes available.

According to the ladies, “Any extra spots will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.”

But that doesn’t mean you can’t still assist with the Council’s support of A Woman’s Garden. The limited edition Dallas-themed scarves are available for purchase here, as well as sponsorships for one of the Spring Flower Beds here.

BTW, Wednesday, April 6 is the deadline for purchasing one of the Spring Flower beds that will be on display from Wednesday, April 20, through Tuesday, May 31. Hmm, wouldn’t that make a nice Mother’s Day gift?

In the meantime, glue guns are sizzling to put those last minute touches on hats for the see-and-be-seen occasion at the Arboretum.
