Tonight the 2022 Crystal Charity Ball’s plans for its annual Ten Best Dressed Women Of Dallas Fashion Show were revealed at a private reception at Neiman Marcus NorthPark. Unlike years past, when the announcement was made at a morning event, 2022 Crystal Charity Ball Chair Susan Farris and Fashion Show Chair Jennifer Dix decided to change things up a bit. They moved the announcement event to an evening reception for the honorees, their spouses, special guests and members of CCB, Neiman’s, NorthPark and other VIPs.
The class of 2022 will include Marybeth Conlon, Tiffany Divis, Monica Eastin, Libby Hegi, Kim Hext, Meredith Land, Karla McKinley, Anne McPherson, Amy Prestidge and Kim Quinn, who have “given their time and resources for children of Dallas for decades.”
Joining the Hall of Fame will be 2019 CCB Chair and philanthropist Pat McEvoy.
During its 49-year history, the event has had only four honorary chairs — Margaret Hunt Hill, Nancy Dedman, Annette Simmons and Norma Hunt. Susan revealed that Gene Jones has accepted the role for the 2022 Fashion Show.
Repeating last year’s format of a morning brunch and an afternoon tea presentation, the ladies will be honored on Thursday, September 8, at Neiman’s NorthPark featuring Dolce and Gabbana’s Resort 2022 collection.
Funds raised from the Fashion Show and underwriting opportunities will benefit the 2022 Dallas County children’s non-profits including Agape Clinic, Baylor Oral Health Foundation, Behind Every Door, Educational First Steps, Family Compass, Hope Supply Co., Southwestern Medical Foundation for the benefit of UT Southwestern Medical Center, United to Learn and The Crystal Charity Ball 70th Anniversary Project.
Table contracts and individual tickets will be available the first week of May. For further information, please call 214.526.5868. ext.25 or crystalcharityball.org.
BTW, last year’s presentations sold out almost immediately.
