Equest Blue Ribbon Ball Co-Chairs Are Doing Some Name-Dropping With Tickets Now On Sale

Apr 25, 2022 9:30 AM by Jeanne Prejean

Hold your horses! Equest’s Blue Ribbon Ball tickets have gone on sale. Co-Chairs and equine-loving folks (Carol and Bill Huckin, Finley and Eric Konrade and Elsa Norwood) along with Honorary Co—Chairs Leslie and Hawkins Golden have not only just opened the gate for ticket purchases, but they’ve added more.

It seems that on Saturday, June 4, in the Al Hill Jr. Arena at Texas Horse Park’s Equest compound, the evening’s emcee/former Ron Chapman sidekick Jody Dean will have former Dallas Cowboy/2022 North Carolina Sports Hall of Famer Timmy Newsome as the keynote speaker.

As earlier reported, former Equest Board Chair Lane Cates and her husband Brad McLain will receive the 2022 Citation Award.

If you’re happily in some far-off place on holiday or just playing hard to get, you can still support the Equest mission by donating here. Otherwise, pony up and party on for a night of fresh air cocktailing, a seated dinner, a silent and a live auction, live entertainment and, of course, photo opps with Equest’s selfie specialist miniature ambassadors!
