To gin up the excitement of the night’s live auction, organizers have had the luxury packages previewed  online .

While the goodies range from NorthPark’s Eataly cooking class and spa treatments to trips to Tuscany, Ireland, Cape Cod and the Kentucky Derby, there is one little “Easter egg” hidden in the Taste of Dallas — “Summer in the City.”

Valued at $1,500, this yummy offering will help stave off the heat of July and August with a “casually cool dinner for eight” at Salum Restaurant. Not only does it feature a three-course meal selected by restaurant owner/Chef Abraham Salum himself but also includes such perks as wines, floral centerpieces and mementos of the night.

Funds raised from Vine And Dine will support Ability Connection’s mission to “to enrich the lives of people with disabilities…one person at a time.” Tickets start at $300 and are still available to be part of the celebration and fundraising.
