RESCHEDULED: An Event To Remember

Feb 15, 2022 11:30 AM by Jeanne Prejean

Slated to take place on Saturday, February 19, the third annual An Event To Remember has been rescheduled to take place on Saturday, May 7, to benefit the Dallas and Northeast Texas Alzheimer’s Association.

An Event To Remember*

According to Dallas and Northeast Texas of Alzheimer’s Association Manager of Relationship Events Nicole Garrison, “The date change is being made out of an abundance of caution. The safety of our constituents, supporters and guests during the current Omicron surge drove this decision, and we are hopeful that by moving the event to May 7, we will be able to resume the in-person Gala we are all looking forward to enjoying.”

Luckily, the original plans are still in place for the black tie affair. Chair Saralyn Hanford and Honorary Co-Chairs Mary Jo and James Cochrum and Jennifer and Sam Petty will be joined by KDFW Anchor Steve Eagar, who will handle the emcee duties.

And since this year’s theme is an Italian-style “Masquerade,” the evening of auctions, cocktails and dinner will take place at Verona Villa in Frisco.

Tickets and sponsorships are still available here.
