Why does it seem that 2022 February’s Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays have been pretty consistent in giving North Texas a cold shoulder? Once again temperatures are nose-diving to the 20s at night until Friday morning. And while the days’ temperatures may rise above freezing, the predicted rain and thundershowers will create an overnight coat of ice on streets and sidewalks.
So use the time now to dig up some more recipes to warm the meals and dry-clean those cashmere sweaters, because you’re gonna need them.
And, of course, you won’t need any reminders to take care of the four Ps (pets, pipes, plants and people) and turn off those sprinkler systems.
But don’t get discouraged. This February doesn’t hold a candle compared to last year and, according to the Farmer’s Almanac, there are no freezing temperatures planned for March.
