The forecast for the upcoming three-day Presidents’ Day holiday weekend is timed perfectly for the official opening of the Dallas Arboretum’s Dallas Blooms. With temperatures reaching the 60s, 70s and even 80s, the “Birds in Paradise” will come alive starting Saturday with four grand peacock topiaries surrounded by 100 varieties of spring bulbs, 500,000 spring-blooming blossoms, thousands of azaleas and the ever-popular Japanese cherry trees.
Presented by Veritex Community Bank, 2022 Dallas Blooms will also offer a variety of activities like bird talks, bird flight shows, demonstrations and much more until Sunday, April 10.
Remember that you just can’t toddle up to the entry to purchase a ticket. Reservations are required and you can pick your date and time slot online.
Suggestion: If you want to be among the first to see the peacocks and the hundreds of tulips this weekend, get your time booked now!
