JUST IN: KidneyTexas Inc.’s Runway Report Plans And Leadership Announced

Jan 25, 2022 9:30 AM by Jeanne Prejean

Usually KidneyTexas Inc.’s Runway Report Luncheon and Fashion Show is held in the end of September, but this year KidneyTexas President Donna Weitzman decided to move it to the final week in October. Tuesday, October 25, to be exact.

Like last year the event will return to the Meyerson Symphony Center with fashions provided by Tootsies under the direction of Jan Strimple with Scott Murray serving as emcee.

Co-Chairing the 23rd year of the fundraiser, which will include a champagne reception as well as a seated luncheon and “formal floor level fashion presentation,” will be Regina Bruce and Dr. Carla Russo.

Funds raised through the event will support the organization’s mission “to provide funding to improve the method of treatment, the search for a cure and prevention of kidney disease and other kindred or contributory diseases; and to develop more adequate provision for the care of persons suffering from such diseases.”

This year’s beneficiaries haven’t been announced yet, so stay tuned.
