November and the Salvation Army have always gone hand in kettle… oops, in hand. In addition to the Army’s official Red Kettle campaign kick-off at the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving game at AT&T Stadium, there’s the “Do The Most Good” Luncheon that is “the primary fundraiser for The Salvation Army of North Texas.”

However, Luncheon Co-Chairs Christie Carter and Margaret Hancock along with the Army’s team wanted to play it extremely safe for the mega come-together of community supporters. So the decision was made to delay the luncheon until Wednesday, March 9, at the Hilton Anatole.
Details about the event’s guest speaker and other details will be revealed in the weeks ahead.
To date, the luncheon has provided nearly $1.8M, which helps fund operations across the North Texas region throughout the year.
In the meantime, you can support the Army’s efforts by helping to fill the virtual Red Kettles or adopting an angel online or at one of the area’s “mall tree” locations.
