North Texas’ reputation for outstanding support of non-profits isn’t solely based on the community’s generosity. It’s also the result of the hands-on involvement by volunteers. While most think of a volunteer as one who works alongside the staff in providing the day-in, day-out operation of the organization, there are volunteers who give their time, talent and wisdom by sitting on boards.
The Vogel Alcove has just added seven new members to its board that already include Chair Scott Wilson, Vice-Chair Ann Marie Painter, Treasurer Chris Pfirrman, Secretary Jonathan Macke, Immediate Past Chair John Wander and members Geoff Bailey, Alice Barnett, Vik Bhatia, Dawn Budner, Debra Carter, David Cho, Paul S. Driscoll, Erica Foland, Alan J. Gold, Lauren Halsey, Susan Hirsch, Alex Holmes, Perry Kaufman, Rick Lacher, Andrew Lauck, Lauren Leahy, Roger Lehman, Nick Linn, Stacy Malphurs, Amy McCracken, Christy Means-Vasiliou, Graham Merriman, Mark Miner, John Ofenloch, Andy Rabin, Andrew Rosen and R. Creighton Stark III.
The seven new members include The Dallas Morning News Brand Marketing Director Jessica Baldwin, Main Event Entertainment VP of Sales and Strategic Initiatives Robert Jenkins, Eastfield Police Academy Director Cletus Judge, Echo Park Senior Controller Austin Kremers, Celanese Lead Accountant Keisha Ortiz, Boston Consulting Group Managing Director/Partner Chris Spafford and Finance and Strategy Professional/philanthropist Lori Whitten.
