MySweetCharity Photo Gallery Alert!: 2021 Crystal Charity Ball Midpoint Luncheon

Jun 11, 2021 5:30 PM by Jeanne Prejean

With pandemic restrictions easing, the 2021 Crystal Charity Ball committee held its annual Midpoint Luncheon to update one and all on the progress made so far for the yearlong fundraising for Dallas County children’s nonprofits.

With the threat of rain being delayed, the site of the luncheon was a perfect pick — the ever-popular Katy Trail Ice House. The outdoor venue meant spring frocks and, in some cases, sneakers.

In addition to choosing between salads and burgers, announcements were made including the fact that the committee of 100 was halfway to its goal of providing more than $5.3M for the 2021 beneficiaries (Baylor Scott And White Dallas Foundation, Cafe Momentum, Dallas CASA, Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center, Dallas Symphony Association Inc., Network of Community Ministries, Phoenix House of Texas Inc. and Scottish Rite for Children).
