Sorry if you had your heart set on being part of the VIP-ers at the Arboretum’s Fourth Annual Food And Wine Festival: A Gatsby Garden Soiree on Thursday, June 10. It’s sold out! And no wonder. After all, what would one expect when Knife Dallas’ Chef John Tesar and Carte Blanche’s Chef Casey La Rue will be ruling the VIP Experience?
But never fear — there are still tickets available for the main event chaired by Chef Sharon Van Meter and Event Chair Alicia Voltmer.
But Alicia warned, “With a limited number of tickets available to ensure a safe and wonderful experience and the public’s excitement about attending this popular, outdoor event, we anticipate a sell-out.”
Once again — and no wonder, with the collection of restaurants and chefs providing a graze-a-thon at North Texas’ most fabulous surroundings thanks to Festival sponsors Rosewood Ranches Waygu Beef and Amegy Bank and “fine wines provided by Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits.”
BTW, if you’re wondering who will be cooking, you’re in luck. Here is a roll call of the talents behind the dishes:

And the food extravaganza isn’t a one-night-only affair. The following Saturday, June 12, and Sunday, June 13, the Arboretum will host a Garden Market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with “dozens of local vendors showcasing their products for sale, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Arboretum.”
