Ah, come on and admit it — you’re suffering a real case of cabin fever. That’s perfectly understandable after days of hibernating in a place that would make a Sub-Zero frig look like a convection oven. You deserve to break out and be part of the real world and, boy, here is an opportunity for you. Not only will you be out and about, but you’ll have a gratifying purpose for people who haven’t had a real meal this week.
If you’re a wannabe novice cook, then you just know that Hello Fresh is your new best friend. They supply not only all the ingredients but all the grade-schooler instructions on how to whip it together for a great meal. Well, Hello Fresh and their delivery arm Grand Husky Logistics have provided North Texas Food Bank “with one of their largest donations this year — more than 150 pallets of Hello Fresh boxes — equivalent to 25,000 meal kits.”

But there’s a problem, don’t you know? They need volunteers Saturday to help distribute the boxes at the following sites:
- UNT Dallas from 1 to 3 p.m. (7300 University Hills Blvd., Dallas 752241) and
- Grace Church from 2 to 4 p.m. (3301 Preston Rd., Plano 75093)
NTFB isn’t gonna ask you for your social security number, your political affiliation or your weight, thank heaven. They just want people to help. Seriously. Couldn’t you could spare an hour or two to help neighbors whom you may never see again but will never forget that moment of exchange?
On the other hand, you just might be planting seeds of inspiration for future generations.
