Blizzard Recovery Continues With A Soupy Event Postponed A Week For The Sake Of Its Clients

Feb 23, 2021 5:30 PM by Jeanne Prejean Leave a Comment

As the temperatures are rising and the sun is shining, North Texans are in a state of either recovering or trying to recover from last week’s historic frigid blast. Too many still don’t have water; others are mopping up the aftermath of broken pipes. Ironically, store shelves are pretty dry. Luckily, 18-wheelers are charging non-stop down roads to fill the empty spaces.

Another change taking place due to last week’s epic shiver is The Stewpot Alliance‘s Soup’s On! Virtual Luncheon and Art Sale. Instead of taking place this Thursday (February 25), it has been moved to Thursday, March 4.

Why the move? After all, it’s a virtual event. The answer is simple: “Priorities this week and next being to serve the clients during the storm.”

Thanks to the postponement, you still have a chance to sign up for the fundraiser and be a part of the The Stewpot‘s efforts.
