Santa just sent a note. Instead of taking it easy to recover from his Christmas around-the-world deliveries, it seems that he and the elves have been adding up all the results from Women’s Auxiliary to Children’s Health for Holiday 2020 with the NorthPark Center elves.
The old bearded fellow wrote that he was amazed to see the numbers in spite of the COVID-19 restrictions. He was so pleased to see that more than 1,000 families from North Texas and other parts were able to book visits with him.
He was especially happy that, thanks to the Children’s/NorthPark partnership, a virtual program was set up for the patients at Children’s. More than 700 patients at Children’s got to meet with him and to tune into special story times just for them.
Thanks to the partnership of the Women’s Auxiliary, NorthPark and, of course, Santa, more than $130,000 in critical funding was provided for Children’s Health and their mission to make life better for youngsters.
