It was back in February 2018 that Kim Robinson came on board as CEO of New Friends New Life (NFNL). Later that year, in August, Kim managed to bring Bianca Jackson on board as chief development officer. Bianca had previously been the Genesis Women’s Shelter’s go-getter director of development for seven years.
This past August “Kim resigned from the organization,” and Bianca was named interim executive director.
Today it was announced that Bianca has taken on the role of CEO.
According to NFNL Board Chair Ashlee Kleinert, “Bianca hit the ground running the moment she came to New Friends New Life. Her extensive nonprofit expertise, along with her energy and commitment, has been a critical part of the organization’s development. We are thrilled to have her lead us into the next chapter.”
Prior to her time at Genesis, Bianca served as communications manager for Medical City Dallas Hospital. A graduate of Temple University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations, she earned a master’s degree in organizational communications from Dallas Baptist University.
Upon being named NFNL CEO, Bianca commented, “For the past two decades, NFNL has stood on behalf of women and girls trapped in trafficking and exploitation. I am honored to continue sounding the alarm about the issue of sex trafficking in this expanded capacity. Each day I wake up grateful and excited to stand shoulder to shoulder with our dedicated staff, board members, donors, and partners in this fight. Our work will not be done until these brave survivors find the freedom and peace they deserve.”
