Hints Dropped About ReuNight’s Spring Move To A Well-Known, One-Name Venue

Jan 27, 2021 1:30 PM by Jeanne Prejean

As The Family Place’s CEO Paige Flink was juggling all types of media inquiries about her Friday’s announcement of retiring, she let a hint drop about the upcoming ReuNight. Yup, just as reported last September that the traditional Fall fundraiser was moving to the spring of 2021, but the deets were still to come.

And what do you know? Spring 2021 is just around the corner and plans are starting to ease out with Paige asking, “Did you know we’re going to the Nasher (Sculpture Center)?” She added that the venue that has risen to the ranks of being known by a one-word name, much like Adele, Beyonce, Bono, Cher, Louvre, Madonna, Slurpee, Sting, Sphinx and Tarzan, is gonna be the perfect spot to raise funds and be COVID-19ly safe.

This morning 2021 ReuNight Co-Chair Lisa Singleton, who is co-chairing the fundraiser with Kristen Sanger, confirmed the location, plus that it would be outside in the beautiful garden with a limit of 100 guests to raise Benjamins for the organization that has become legendary in providing assistance for families overcoming domestic abuse.

Another nugget revealed was that it will be taking place on Thursday, May 13.

Don’t bother looking for the ReuNight homepage. It’s still in the works. Just stay tuned. More details are in the offing.
