2021 Cattle Baron’s Ball Co-Chairs Diana Hamilton and Heather Randall are putting all their news in one announcement. It seems to raise funds for cancer research in North Texas, they just revealed that in addition to the big gala returning to Gilley’s, they’ve resurrected an event from the past —the Cattle Baron’s Ball Golf Tournament. Last held in 2008, the 2021 tournament is being co-chaired by Kristi Bare and Nancy Gopez and will take place on Monday, May 3, at the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas.
As for the largest single-night fundraiser in the world for the American Cancer Society, it will take place on Saturday, October 23. Diana and Heather were fortunate enough to re-sign the two entertainers who were originally planned for last year’s canceled fundraiser. Cole Swindell will get the hoopla going on the VIP Stage with multi-Platinum singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley capping the evening on the main stage under the humongous tent.
With the double-event program, it’s no wonder that this year’s theme is “Doubling Down Against Cancer.”
Following the roots of Cattle Baron’s founding in 1974, funds hauled in from the two events will benefit the American Cancer Society in North Texas. So far that’s amounted to $86M. Let’s see how far that number can rise.
