It goes without saying that 2020 established a sorrowful record of deaths since COVID-19 invaded our lives. Within that brief time, coronavirus has become the third leading cause of death in the U.S., with more than 343,000 victims and 27,000+ in Texas to date. The daily tallies have almost numbed the mind to the magnitude of the losses.
In addition to the pandemic’s devastation, North Texas families and friends have also suffered losses due to other causes as well — some accidental; some due to aging bodies; some after battling long-term health issues.
