According to Folds Of Honor North Texas Board of Directors Chairman Mike Beltz,
“The Folds of Honor North Texas proudly provided 118 scholarships totaling $590,000 in our North Texas Community in 2019. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has forced the cancellation of all of our annual chapter fundraising events this year including several third party fundraising events that we count on for support but it has not canceled the needs of our military families who sacrifice daily for the freedoms we enjoy.
“That is why we launched Operation 118 to fund our 118 North Texas Legacy Scholarships. Our wish this season is for your support of our Operation 118 campaign.
“With your help, Folds of Honor will continue to empower, equip, and educate the loved ones of America’s fallen and disabled heroes. These 118 students are part of America’s future. As free Americans, please help us take care of the legacies of those who have sacrificed by defending our freedoms.
