According to Rainbow Days CEO Tiffany Beaudine,
“Rainbow Days creates meaningful connections with children in high-risk situations to help develop the social and emotional skills they need to build positive futures.
“Each year, Rainbow Days provides stockings filled with fun items and essential necessities as well as toys and gifts to homeless children and families in the Dallas area. This year, our goal is to provide these items to over 1,000 children, youth and parents! We need your help to make the holidays bright for these special children and families.
“The safety of the children and families we serve is always our top priority; therefore, we have decided to forgo our annual celebratory ‘Saturday with Santa’ event. However, we want to make sure the children and families know we are thinking of and care about each of them during this difficult time. We are asking that you donate items or full stockings to help spread holiday cheer:
- “Donations of toys and gifts, which can be purchased via the Saturday with Santa Amazon Wish List to be shipped directly to Rainbow Days’ offices, are needed no later than Monday, November 30.
- “Donations of filled stockings are needed no later than Friday, Dec. 4.
We need your help to let homeless families know, especially now, that we haven’t forgotten them this holiday season. Thank you for supporting Rainbow Days and follow us on social media to see how we #HelpKidsRise.
