After months of adapting to the new world order of COVID-19 restrictions, the American Heart Association – North Texas is undertaking a fundraiser that promises fun and fundraising safely — The Heart Of Collin County – Heart Fest. Scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 8, at Crest Cadillac/Infiniti/Volvo in Frisco, it’s only right that Crest’s kingpin Mike Brosin and better-half Jana Brosin will be co-chairing the get-together.

In addition to a Dallas Cowboys vs. Steelers last-half watch party, guests will enjoy a five-course chef tasting menu by Lead Chef Aaron Staudenmaier of Whiskey Cake Kitchen and Bar; Hugh Stewart of The Crest Bistro; Nathan Boothe of Ida Claire; Antonio Samora of Mexican Sugar and Skyler Gauthier of Haywire. And, of course, it wouldn’t be a feast without cocktail pairings. That will be on the program, as will a live, outdoor concert featuring Texas’ own Robert Earl Keen.
To abide by the not-too-close rules of the day, guests “will experience the evening by being provided with black car service and enjoy the concert from a designated socially distanced area for each individual party.”
Heart Fest tickets are available here with proceeds from the event going “toward cardiovascular research and heart programs locally, such as funding blood pressure cuffs for the Plano Veteran Affairs Clinic.”
