Front yards are sprouting signage for various candidates and issues. But there is one sign that has no political allegiance and is simply promoting a good cause. It’s the Children’s Health’s purple-and-white-and-red “Boo!” sign to “scare away childhood illness and injury.”
With a touch of mischief, you can have some fun with this little ghostly figure by “boo-ing” your favs. Just “secretly leave the sign in their yards and Halloween treats at their doorsteps without them seeing you”… that is, unless Ring tattles on you.
With Halloween less than two weeks away, the goal is to turn entire neighborhoods into “ghost towns.”
It’s simple to join the Boo Yard Sign Challenge. After you place your order for your signs ($20 each), you’ll be able to pick them up from neighborhood captains across Dallas and Plano.
And how will you know where your neighborhood captain is located? Simple. You’ll find your closest location during checkout by searching your ZIP Code. Then it’s up to you to decide the date and time for pickup.
The purchase of each sign will translate into “a special Halloween treat for a child at Children’s Health,” in addition to proceeds benefiting Children’s Health patient programs and services.
BTW, don’t forget to get a sign for your own lawn.
