For the first time in its 46-year history the grand dame of North Texas fashion fundraising presentations — Crystal Charity Ball’s Ten Best Dressed Women of Dallas Fashion Show And Luncheon — has been canceled. Scheduled to take placed on Thursday, October 22, at NorthPark Center, the decision was made “out of abundance of caution due to COVID-19.”

However, CCB leadership “plans to recognize the 2020 Best Dressed Honorees Marybeth Conlon, Tiffany Divis, Jennifer Dix, Cate Ford, Cara French, Libby Hegi, Kim Hext, Karla McKinley, Amy Prestidge and Kimberly Schlegel Whitman) as well as 2020 Hall of Famer Mary Clare Finney next year at the 2021 event which will take place at Neiman Marcus NorthPark Center.”
Regardless of the 2020 event’s cancellation, the fundraising for the 2020 children’s nonprofit beneficiaries (Ability Connection, Catch Up and Read, Center for Vision Health, Children’s Medical Center Foundation, Foundation for Callier Center for Communication Disorders, Healing Hands Ministries, Mommies in Need Inc. and North Texas Food Bank) continues.
According to 2020 CCB Chair Tucker Enthoven, “What remains unchanged is the need of the children and the hope our dollars will provide for this year’s eight beneficiaries.”
NorthPark Center is helping to remind folks of the importance of the supporting CCB’s 2020 fundraising by hosting a special exhibition of beneficiaries from Tuesday, September 22, thru Wednesday, November 4, on Level One near Neiman Marcus.
