With the 2020 Presidential debates getting underway tonight, it might be a good time for a reminder about yard sign etiquette.
Like all lawn décor, whether it’s a comforting water feature, a humongous Halloween spook or trees draped in toilet paper, a campaign sign should remain as is with the homeowners’ deciding its fate.
Recently some neighbors have had their signs removed by unknown culprits; others have discovered overzealous campaigners have planted their candidate’s signs in their yard without their permission.

One frustrated homeowner not only erected an oversized banner requesting that people “please stop taking” his/her candidate’s sign, they put in small print at the bottom of the sign, “You’re on camera.”
It’s five weeks until Tuesday, November 3, election day. Make sure that you’re registered to vote by Monday, October 5, and take your stand with your ballot.
