On the eve of the 2020 Fourth of July weekend celebration, Gov. Greg Abbott just announced that masks will be required statewide starting Friday at noon and has given local officials the power to limit the size of outdoor gathering to no more than 10 people. Expect North Texas officials to take him up on the offer.
Following today’s report that Dallas County alone reported more than 700 new COVID-19 cases, The Dallas Morning News is posting that Dallas County’s Dr. Philip Huang is going to announce that the area will have passed 1,000 new cases today.
Unless one likes to stay in their rabbit hole or fantasizes of being on a ventilator, it’s time to drop the lipstick and wear the mask and/or stay at home.
