While businesses are requiring masks to be worn by staff and customers/clients, there’s popped up a recurring problem in retail stores, especially grocery stores. It’s the wrong-way shopper.
Despite floor signage, these directional deviants are either throwing caution to the wind or just seem to be oblivious that they are fish swimming upstream.
But it’s not totally their fault. After all, how many people actually look down on the ground when they’re checking out the shelves? Perhaps if the signage had been suspended overhead, or a friendly voice could be heard over the PA reminding shoppers, “Aisles are one way. Make them your way.”
Now is not the time to relax the rules of COVID-19 survival. Social distancing in the right direction can be as important as masking up.
